2017 Year in Review

We want to start 2018 by reflecting on 2017 because it was an incredible year – filled with new challenges and adventures, and most important for us – filled with time spent exploring new places, and fostering important relationships – doing work with purpose. We met so many amazing individuals that inspired us through their work, their passion and the way they live life. Below is a video of some of the many memorable behind-the-scenes moments from our shoots last year. Thanks to all that hosted us, inspired us, taught us new things and joined us on this awesome journey.

A recap of the work we completed in 2017:

‘THE WILDLIFE PROTECTOR’ FOR THE SINGITA GRUMETI FUND

Film Cover: Gotera Gamba, a leader amongst the game scout core at the Singita Grumeti Fund.

‘THE SILO HOTEL’ FOR THE ROYAL PORTFOLIO

‘SAVE THE LUANGWA RIVER’ FOR THE WORLD WILDLIFE FUND | The team  traveled to Zambia to learn more about the Luangwa River – one of the last remaining free flowing rivers in Africa.

‘LIFE IN THE BUSH’ FOR SINGITA | We thoroughly enjoyed working on this film that focusses on what life is like working and living in ths bush at Singita.  It is trly something special to have the opportunity to work in these wilderness areas with like minded people.

‘A 360 ROYAL CHUNDU EXPERIENCE’ FOR ROYAL CHUNDU

‘WORLD ELEPHANT DAY’ CAMPAIGN WITH THE DAVID SHELDRICK WILDLIFE TRUST FOR UNITED FOR WILDLIFE | We created content for World Elephant Day for United for Wildlife. We did a number of short clips like the one below – these were filmed at the amazing David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust that are doing incredible work rearing elephant calves that are later rehabilitated back into the wild.

‘A MOPANI EXPERIENCE’ CAMPAIGN FOR MOPANI PHARMACY | Mopani is a chain of pharmacies in the heart of Mpumalanga, South Africa that offers its customers consistent and excellent customer service through various offerings from a baby clinic to sports nutrition. Here are just 4 of the commercials produced for this campaign.

‘A PRIDE OF LIONS TO BE PROUD OF’ FOR EMPOWERS AFRICA | A pride of 3 lions were successfully relocated from &Beyond’s Phinda Private Game Reserve to the Somkhanda Game Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal. Over the last century lions have lost more than 80% of their range and their population has decreased from 200,000 to approximately 20,000. In an effort to combat these grim statistics – this project was initiated to expand the habitat of our wild lions. The lions were moved to community owned Somkhanda Game Reserve located in northern KwaZulu-Natal. Watch the film to learn more.
